A politically and emotionally charged installation.

Exploring co-dependent relationships between consumption and power, identity and autonomy. The exhibition utilised installation and found objects within the atmospheric Curve Gallery 1, fittingly located at the epicentre of Liverpool’s financial and governmental power base in Victoria Street. Robyn Woolston’s modus operandi fights fire with fire ‘culture jamming’, corporate resistance and graphic activism, questioning ethical neutrality and our culture of ‘cool’.

As the winner of numerous awards, having worked extensively within moving image, she relished the opportunity to further explore and express her views on the struggle to make personal choices in a pre-packaged world through interdisciplinary art.
